CIVES has become a scientific society, addressing the type C emergency and using resources in very different fields than in the past. In light of the experience gained over the years and in particular during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Round Table aims to outline the scope of action of CIVES, giving new motivation to the volunteers who give every day a fundamental contribution on the field.

At REAS the Driver of the Year Trophy and the Formula Safe Driving training events

Formula Guida Sicura confirms its presence at REAS with a stand at the fair and two engaging events open to all. The first is the E.M.O. aimed at drivers of medical vehicles which will take place in the days preceding the Show, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 October. Two days that will prepare students to acquire the skills necessary for a better management of the health vehicle from a theoretical, methodological and practical point of view. Registrations are open on the website www.formulaguidasicura.it or by calling 0564 966 346.

The second appointment is the ninth edition of the “Driver of the Year” Trophy. The event, a “classic” of REAS, is scheduled for Saturday 9 October. Participation is free. Interested parties can register by calling 0564 966346 or directly at the fair at the Formula Guida Sicura stand.

For Formula Guida Sicura, the new edition of REAS also represents an opportunity to raise awareness of another important novelty of this 2021. This is the new training course called “Specialized Driving Technician”. This figure, completely new in the world of associations, will be able to manage information, training and benefits related to safe driving in the health sector, for the benefit of the association in which it operates. The associations that decide to invest in this figure will be completely autonomous in the training of all their drivers.
The training course does not provide for specific participation requirements, it is open to all those who work within the association, regardless of the role held.

The REAS will therefore also be an opportunity to deepen the debate on road safety, the professionalism of the drivers who drive medical vehicles and the birth of new specialized figures within the individual voluntary associations.

I.R.Co.T. and SER Italia at REAS: development of the Special Rescue Operating Unit – NOSS

SER Italia employs the Special Operational Rescue Units fully embracing the “I.R.Co.T. philosophy” and a sacrosanct principle: to protect workers when they entrust their lives to the rescue teams and the rescuers themselves, because they must not be started to carry out their tasks without adequate Health and Technical training and training.

There are many curricula that we screen to verify the skills of aspiring rescuers but, for the most part, they are self-referential skills. Of course, to bypass the “self-referral”, we also use Rescuers from the Special Aid of the Italian Red Cross. In particular of SMTS Nuclei Operators (Rescue with Special Vehicles and Techniques) where the qualification path embraces the protocols of the SAF units of the Fire Brigade and Alpine Rescue.
Similar protocols in the same direction in terms of capabilities and skills, but clearly more targeted to the needs of private industry, we have found them in I.R.Co.T., which has developed a specific path: Industrial rescue Operator IResQ.

In this context, all the techniques must be reconfigured and transmitted to the Rescuers. Furthermore, the Legislative Decree 81/08 and the DPR 177/11 oblige us to remain within the boundaries of the legislation. This is the big job we have done with I.R.Co.T .: apply the SWIS (Safety Working Itneraction System) models. An articulated system of development of the qualification of operational personnel, focused precisely on the training and training capacity. The same model provides for alignment with the protocols of the public emergency technical services, so that the interventions are performed with techniques aimed at the direct acceptance of the injured person among the emergency services without re-performing the assessments already performed. This is to the benefit of the precious minutes that separate life from fate!

The advantages related to joining the NOSS are many. Being included in the IRCOT professional register pursuant to Law 4/2013 is, for the aspiring Rescuer, a recognition by a third party, which has assessed and certified the professional skills. For the company that uses it, the safety that, in the moment of need, will be able to carry out a correct rescue or rescue.

SegnamiTS: at REAS an innovative suite for the management of associations

SegnamiTS was born from the idea of a Volunteer, with the aim of simplifying the management of Volunteer Associations.

Flu-id was founded on this idea, a company dedicated to providing services related to Information Technology..

Simple, fast, digital and usable by everyone, SegnamiTS is the flagship product of Flu-id, created from the experience of those who have been working as an ambulance rescuer for years.

The intention is to make available what is needed for the operational management of an out-of-hospital emergency facility, with particular attention to shifts coverage and the availability of Volunteers, without necessarily having to go to the headquarters, having the ability to access the management system. directly from home.

SegnamiTS is a real suite that includes everything you need for the management of Associations, from shifts coverage, to service management, to the creation of invoices and / or expense reports.

SegnamiTS is distributed with the “Software as a Service” (SaaS) formula, that is, it can be used through any computer device that can surf the internet without having to install expensive servers.
Among the appreciable advantages of SegnamiTS: the immediate sharing of information, the great portability of the system, the elimination of the card and the ability to contact members by email or text message.

The Associations that have adopted SegnamiTS tell of a revolution in the management of shifts. Operations are guaranteed both from headquarters and from home, also having the ability to deal with emergencies without wasting time. Those who have the task of managing a complex reality can afford to volunteer with a smile and without stress.

Our time is precious and it is a duty to be able to optimize it without having to steal it from our loved ones.

SegnamiTS was created by Volunteers to be used by Volunteers.

CELTE at REAS: the best technological support for security operators

Operations involving the Fire Brigade, the Civil Protection, the State Forestry Corps and other Bodies often involve actions in areas affected by fires or, more generally, by dangerous situations. For this reason Celte S.p.A. supports the operators in providing the best technological support for their safety.

In particular, infrared cameras play a fundamental role in these situations, especially after the improvement of mass production techniques and the growing economic sustainability of components and raw materials. In fact today these devices are more accessible for any professional operator, including those in the fire-fighting sector.

Among the highly anticipated innovations in the sector, Celte S.p.A. will preview the Scott Sight integrated thermal imaging camera, which can be integrated into the AV3000HT positive pressure mask. A true revolution that frees rescuers from carrying heavy thermal imaging cameras by hand!
The Scott Sight sends a wireless image in the 160 x 120 format to the display in the mask. Using an infinity lens with auto-dimming, free of environmental obstacles; the display therefore allows a clear and safe view!

Other products at the show include mono or biocular cameras and thermal imaging cameras from the Teledyne FLIR K Series and the Avon Mi – Tic Series, all available on our website along with a wide range of models.

Robots help protect people: DRZ – German Rescue Robotics Center at REAS

Among the exhibitors of REAS 2021 the presence of DRZ – German Rescue Robotics Center is confirmed, an excellence that opens up new horizons to protect and save lives thanks to recent developments in the field of robotics.

DRZ – German Rescue Robotics Center is the first national competence center for rescue robotics based in Dortmund and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. We are opening new horizons to protect and save lives with the robots they rescue. Our unique network of users, research and businesses creates innovative technologies based on needs and integrates them into operational practice. At the heart of this is the so-called “Living Lab”. Here we provide various test areas on which we test systems together with users for their suitability for use. The base is formed by the 4 guiding scenarios: fire, collapse and burial under rubble, detection of hazardous substances and floods, as well as the resulting challenges for rescue robotics. This is how research becomes visible. We are a driving force for product development, we establish the necessary standards, certify and then accelerate the spread of robots in the field of protection and rescue. The basis of our success is the pooling of skills and the will to create exceptional things.
