CONFERENCES
Alongside the exhibition area, the 2025 edition also featured a programme of conferences, workshops, seminars and live demonstration sessions specifically aimed at addressing the needs of professionals operating in emergency response, fire-fighting and, more broadly, civil protection rescue operations.
ROUND TABLE
FOREST FIRE FIGHTING
One of the key sectors of REAS is wildfire fighting. Due to its geographical characteristics and the negative effects of climate change, Italy pays particular attention to monitoring, prevention and suppression activities related to forest fires.
GIUSEPPE ZAMBERLETTI
TROPHY
Each edition of REAS hosts the “Giuseppe Zamberletti” Trophy, promoted by Prociv Italia, the National Association of Civil Protection and Healthcare Volunteers. The event is dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Zamberletti, founder of the Civil Protection Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and former Extraordinary Commissioner following the earthquakes in Friuli in 1976 and in Irpinia in 1980.
TRAINING EXERCISE
One of the most anticipated training events at each edition of REAS is the joint agency exercise held in the outdoor area, featuring a simulated coordinated medical rescue operation.
