The Italian Army is present at REAS 2019 with specialists in the field, some of its valuable assets able to operate in support of the Civil Protection in case of public disasters – such as in areas affected by seismic events, in case of exceptional snowfalls and floods, or in fire-fighting campaigns – in addition to its primary mission of defense of the Homeland and national interests.

On Sunday 6th October, starting at 2 p.m., the Italian Alpine Troops Army will be the protagonist of the drill-demonstration that will take place in the external area, a joint operation with an AVES setup on an AB 205 helicopter and highly specialized personnel of the 3rd Alpine Regiment of Pinerolo together with a rescue team of the ANA (National Alpine Association).
